FRONT neurolab Tor Endestad, Department of Psychology

FRONT Neurolab studies control mechanisms of the brain. Particularly we have an interest in how the brain attend to and predicts incidents in our surroundings. Tor Endestad will present ongoing research from the group that is related to how the brain process and control rhythms. One project is about a particular rhythm illusion called Risset and the other is about attention and prediction in polyrhythms. The aim of the projects is to understand how the brain predicts and attend to temporal stimuli in the surroundings and to internally generated percepts of rhythms.
