Format
The winter school will be organized with a combination of traditional and flipped-classroom methodologies.
All participants are expected to follow the free online course Music Moves prior to coming to Oslo. This MOOC lasts for 6 weeks (starting on 21 January) and will serve as background information for many of the topics dealt with during the week.
The week in Oslo will comprise a combination of lectures, hands-on tutorials and a small, team-based research project.
All students that complete the MOOC, the Oslo programme, and submit a final written report will receive a diploma with a recommendation that they receive 3 ECTS credits as part of their PhD training.
