The midway assessment is organized in two parts, and starts with a 90-minute public seminar, followed by a closed meeting.
The purpose of the midway assessment is to evaluate the progress of the PhD project at a point when it is still possible to make small or more substantial changes.

Abbigail's doctoral research focuses on musical experiences considered to be "moving" and "beautiful". Her research uses qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate the social, emotional, and aesthetic responses resulting from these profound musical experiences and to examine the musical and non-musical aspects that contribute to them.
