Higher education in the Netherlands has extensive experience with various Honours programs and offerings. A full 15 years of Honours was celebrated on June 6th and 7th at Hogeschool Saxion and the University of Twente during the conference titled 'Unleashing Potential'. Honours student Klara Vickhoff Lie and research assistant Sara H?ye Alfsen from INTED traveled down to participate.
How do you create a common scientific language between an anthropological storyteller and a systematic biologist? This was discussed by Knut G. Nustad in his lecture on interdisciplinary collaboration in the Global Trout project on May 23rd. Interdisciplinarity is something that most people are interested in, but it is very challenging in practice. In his lecture, Nustad shared how they solved this in their project.
To lead an interdisciplinary project can be quite challenging for several reasons. In this lecture, professor Knut G. Nustad will share his experiences from two interdisciplinary projects involving biology, ecology, English literature, and anthropology.
On March 15th to 17th, an Interdisciplinary Workshop was again arranged at INTED. This time, the topic was the Oslo Fjord.
