The goal of the conference is:
- To show the potential of students when they are given the opportunity to tackle complex and open problems without known solutions
- To demonstrate how honours-programs and interdisciplinary teaching methods can support student agency and bring forth their full potential
- To help students build a cross-European student community and provide them with opportunities to share learning experiences
You are invited to showcase various honours-models, share your experiences in teaching and learning within honours-programs, and present student-driven projects created by honours students. During the conference, honours students will be encouraged to establish a network of peers from across Europe through workshops and events. This powerful network has the transformative potential to shape the future in honours education and interdisciplinary teaching and learning.
The conference is open to honours students and program facilitators from across Europe.
Conference for:
1. Honours Students: Share your experiences and the impact of honours programs on tackling complex issues.
2. Academics and Scholars: Explore effective teaching practices that support student growth
3. University Representatives: Discuss strategies for improving honours education through collaboration.
4. Policymakers and Stakeholders: Contribute to enhancing honours education through policy and community engagement.
Together with students, representatives from the University of Oslo and the broader university sector, academics and teachers, policymakers and stakeholders will present their insights and be invited to participate in conference discussion. This collaborative environment aims to foster meaningful dialogue and innovative ideas.
Join us for engaging discussions and collaboration. We look forward to your participation in shaping the future of honours education in Europe!
