Interdisciplinary facilitator program

INTED's interdisciplinary facilitator program provides students with training to become facilitators for interdisciplinary student groups.

About the program

What: Pedagogical training aimed at enabling participants to work with and facilitate interdisciplinary student groups.

How: Learn methods to facilitate interdisciplinary processes, become familiar with common challenges in interdisciplinary collaborations, and gain knowledge on how to establish a learning environment that supports interdisciplinary collaboration.

Why: Support interdisciplinary initiatives, disseminate knowledge on interdisciplinary competencies, and establish a research-based interdisciplinary practice.

What will you learn?

After completing this program, you will be able to:

  • Identify the facilitator's role in interdisciplinary teaching activities
  • Apply a selection of theories and research on interdisciplinary teaching and learning to your own practice
  • Facilitate a supportive learning environment for students in interdisciplinary courses
  • Document and reflect on your own development as a facilitator
