All the rooms are equipped with a control panel to start the system, choose PC or LapTop for projector, camera control(Auditorium 1-4 and Forsamlingssalen), adjusting audio level and shutting the system down – it is important always to shut down the system when you are finished and when you leave for a longer break!
The most rooms have a control panel screen, either on wall or desk, but some rooms have simpler button panels or “soft touch” panels on wall.
Starting the system
On control panel screen:
- Touch the screen to activate, and on some you must press ?Start? – when there are different tabs on the screen, choose “Projector”
- Choose source for projector: PC or LapTop/HDMI – in rooms with document camera, this can also be chosen
- Projector/TV-monitor will then start up, canvas will roll down (not Auditorium 4) – in rooms with projector hidden in ceiling, a mirror will be lowered
On button/?soft touch? panel:
Choose ?LapTop?/?HDMI1? or ?PC?/?HDMI2?
Audio level control
On control panel screen:
- ?Lyd? controls audio level from PC or connected LapTop
- In rooms with microphones there is a tab where you can adjust their individual levels – note that each has a ?Mute button?: Check if these are activated if you don’t get any sound!
On button/?soft touch? panel:
There are designated buttons for audio level and muting
Connecting LapTop
All rooms are equipped with cable for this. On the cable there are attached different adapters for when LapTop does not have an HDMI port. In rooms with ?hitch? for hanging of cable: Please use this when finished!
Wireless microphones
Auditorium 1-4 and Forsamlingssalen are equipped with wireless head worn and handheld microphones. These must be placed in the charging unit when not in use. Please do return them to charger after use!
The microphones will automatically be turned on when removed from charger. When indicator light on transmitter or microphone turns green, they have a connection to their receiver and are ready to use. A yellow light will indicate that the microphone is muted, and you change them to an unmuted state by moving the mute switch.
Shut down the system – projector/TV will shut down and canvas will roll up
On control panel screen:
Press where it says ?Avslutt? - in some rooms you also must confirm with ?JA? or ?Returner til startskjerm?
On button/?soft touch? panel:
Press button marked ?Off? or where you find an On/Off-symbol
Some useful tips
- If projector don’t start up, canvas don’t roll down or projector mirror don’t come down: Restart system! – (In some rare cases you might have to do this more than once…)
- Use the key combination [Windows]+[P]to easily switch PC monitoring between ?Duplicate? and ?Extended?
- Use the key combination [Windows]+[Shift]+[Arrow right/left] to move a window quickly to the other monitor
