Policy for when postdoctoral fellows can be course convenor

Postdoctoral fellows can be co-convenors of elective courses together with a permanent staff member. In exceptional cases, postdoctoral fellows can be sole convenors of elective courses if this is necessary for the course to be offered, and if there are good reasons not to cancel the course. The granting of such exceptions is up to the Head of Education.

Postdoctoral fellows cannot develop their own courses. The institute will attempt to offer all postdoctoral fellows the opportunity to at least co-convene one course and to give lectures in elective courses at different levels (BA, MA) but can offer no guarantees in this regard.
