We welcome you to a walk along the Aker River accompanied by the Activities Coordinator. The river runs through Oslo from Maridalen Lake in the north to the Oslo fjord in the south, and divides the city into east and west. The green scenery is remarkable, and it is truly one of Oslo's most popular and appreciated routes.
Akerselva is a popular walk because of all the nice places along the river.
Join a walk along the river Akerselva, and learn about the social development and industrial revolution in Norway. On the walk we will pass several waterfalls, and enjoy the nature along the river.
The walk is recommended to all students who want to learn more about Oslo and Norway, and especially to the students who take the ISS course Norwegian Life and Society (ISSN0500).
The walk will not be cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
Meeting point: The bus stop Arendalsgata (the river side of the road).
