Documentation Guidelines
- Upload documents preferably in PDF or JPG format at the online application system (S?knadsweb) within the application deadline.
- When uploading documents, you acknowledge that the University of Oslo may contact the issuing institution for verification.
- Submission of fraudulent documents is illegal, and will be reported to the proper authorities and may lead to dismissal and loss of right to study. Your are liable for uploading true and unaltered documents.
- If admitted, you must bring your original documents with you as you might be asked to present the documents to the University. Failure to submit documents on request will lead to dismissal.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Required education:
One of the following qualifications meets the education requirements:
From 1980:
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) in combination with Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least 3 subjects at "Principal level" in UACE. The subjects English and Maths must be passed with at least grade 8 (grading scale: 1–9, 8: lowest pass grade, 9: fail) in UCE or at least grade E (grading scale A-F, E lowest pass grade) in UACE.
1969-1980:
- East African Advanced Certificate (EAACE) with 3 A levels.
1968-1980:
- East African Certificate of Education (EACE) + 1 year of university education.
Until 1972:
- Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC) with 3 A levels.
- Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC) + 1 year of university education.

All applicants must upload scanned copies of their supporting documents into the application portal, please name your uploaded files as suggested in the tables below.
