Registration of external payment
Fill in and send in the form Registering payment of the semester fee to another student organisation within the deadline so that the payment will be registered at UiO. (The form will be open from 3 December.)

If you pay the semester fee to SiO from another institution
If you are studying at UiO and have paid the semester fee to SiO from another institution, you must register your external payment at UiO. Fill in and send in the form within the deadline so that your payment will be registered at UiO. Under 'Which student organisation have you paid to?' select 'SiO - not UiO division'.
If you do not pay the semester fee to SiO, UiO division, you will not receive a valid semester receipt in the student ID app / a semester receipt on paper, or student card from UiO. Contact SiO Customer Service for information about any welfare services that may be available to you.
Note that if you are registered at UiO with a payment to SiO from another institution, you may use SiO’s welfare services. You must be able to document your external SiO payment to SiO/UiO.
Payment to several educational locations
It is possible to pay the semester fee to more than one educational location. By paying the semester fee to UiO within the deadline in addition to your other educational location, you may access SiO’s welfare services. Note that you may also access SiO’s welfare services if you are registered at UiO with an external payment to SiO. You must be able to document your external SiO payment to SiO/UiO.
