The tour is offered to new BA and MA students.
We hope it will give you some academic input, showcase some the of the work happening at the University and be a place to get to know your new fellow students better.
The tour includes an introduction and two exhibitions;

Programme:
Introduction to the Museum of Cultural History with a tour for new Social Anthropology students through relevant exhibitions.

In the exhibitions, questions are raised about the role that older objects from the Ethnographic Collection can have today. Who owns the cultural heritage in the exhibition "Heritage – our place in history"? The exhibition "Control – an attempt to tame the world" invites you to question the classic narrative of civilization.
