The Cognitive Neuroscience master is a full time program. Learning activities are organized according to the following plan for 120 credits in total.

Programme structure for students who started fall 2020 - fall 2023
In the first and second semester, all students will have mandatory courses 40 ECTS. An intership within a Research Project (internally at the Department or with an external research- collaborator) is stretched over the two first semesters. You can read more about the internship on this webpage. Students also have to choose 20 ECTS electives on the first and second semester.
In the third and fourth semester the students will be writing their master thesis and get supervision. There will be activites like research seminars and writing seminars in these two semesters.
Students wanting to go on exchange will have the opportunity in the third semester.

Through the master's degree, you will be offered a complete programme to make it easier for you to discover your opportunities along the way and to make way for good choices later. Discover your future consists of four courses, one for each semester of the master's degree. The courses consist of a combination of four e-learning modules in Canvas, which you can take as you see fit, as well as some physical workshops where you get the opportunity to work on the various topics. Honours certificate
Are you academically ambitious? It is possible to supplement your master`s degree with an honours certificate worth 20 credits. You take the certificate concurrently with the masters`degree.
