Career prospects

Competence in mathematical modelling and informatics are highly sought after. The Master’s degree gives methodical training in how to plan and carry out a larger practical project, and you will have many career opportunities within a number of sectors.

The programme qualifies you for further PhD studies and to teach at upper secondary schools and on a university/university college level, or for developmental or research oriented work both in private and public sector.

  • the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment,
  • DNV,
  • the Norwegian Metrology Service and
