- Why did you study PECOS?
I chose to study Peace and Conflict because I wanted to become more knowledgable about the conditions that trigger conflict throughout the world. By understanding the nature of conflict, I believe I will be better equipped to advocate for policy that will help create conditions for peace throughout the world.
- Why did you apply for this particular MA programme?
I choose this particular program because of Norway’s high reputation for facilitating peace in international relations. Oslo is, in many ways, at the epicenter of global peace research and has countless opportunities to supplement a formal education through internships and educational seminars that are open to the public throughout the city.
- What is the best thing about being an international master's student at the University of Oslo?
The best part of being an international master’s student at the University of Oslo is being connected to the intelligent and compassionate network of students from around the world. From Norway, Pakistan, Nigeria, to Australia, I have made life long friends who share similar optimistic visions about the future of our world.
