A networked music performance (NMP) is a musical performance done over a computer network. It enables musicians in different locations to perform together in real-time as if they were in the same room, connected via low-latency audio-video technology.
At this event, a group of musicians and dancers will conduct an NMP from two different locations inside Popsenteret. The performance will also be streamed online and to a third location inside the building, making the event possible to experience from four different places simultaneously.
We invite the audience to explore the possibilities and limitations of this advanced telematic technology.
