Information for new students autumn 2020

The first semester (autumn 2020) all the teaching at the master programme in International Community Health will be offered online. 

To get all the accesses you need in order to start your studies at International Community Health, it is important that you, as soon as possible:

  1. Check requirements for studying online
  2. Get username and password
  3. Register for courses. The courses you must register for this autumn are the following:
  • INTHE4019 - Fundamentals of International Community Health
  • INTHE4020- Introduction to Quantitative Methods
  • HELSEF4410- Introduction to Qualitative Methods
  • INTHE4021- Introduction to Epidemiology
  1. Learn about the digital solutions

Information meeting:

On Wednesday August 12th from 9am - 10am the Head of the programme, the student adviser and three buddies will meet those of you who are able to get to the Department of Community Medicine and Global Health. We will meet in front of Frederik Holsts Hus for registration and small talk. Afterwards the 2nd year students/buddies will give you an orientation of the Department and share their experiences about the programme and life in Oslo.

On Wednesday August 12th from 2pm - 4pm there will be a compulsory digital information meeting (on Zoom) with the following programme:

  • Welcome (Head of programme)
  • Greetings from 2nd year students and buddies
  • The student adviser, will go through the following practical points:
    • Registration
    • Zoom
    • Canvas
    • Study groups

You will receive an invitation to the Zoom-meeting from the student adviser. She will send the invitation to your registered email address.

The programme for the Introductory week, August 17th- 21st, will be published here in early August.
