- Free lunch and soft drinks in the hall (entrance), just outside Aud. 1. Go outside and enjoy your meal!
Unable to attend the information meeting?
We understand that unexpected situations may keep you from joining us. If you cannot attend, please let us know in advance by emailing studieinfo@geo.uio.no. It is very important to inform us before the meeting to keep your place in the master's program. If we do not receive notice, you may lose your admission without further warning.
For those who let us know they will be absent, we will share all important information from the session on the department's webpage shortly after the event. We strongly encourage you to check this material carefully.
Important notice regarding confirmation of arrival
If you cannot attend the information session, please make sure to visit the study administration office (room 111) by Friday, 5 September 2025, to officially confirm your enrolment in the program. Please note that not doing this will lead to the cancellation of your master's enrolment. Be sure to bring an official photo ID for verification.

Buddy programme
All new master's students are invited to join the buddy programme where all have been assigned a buddy group, starting Wednesday just after the introduction meeting.
