Programme structure
The theoretical curriculum of a total of 60 ECTS credits in the programme option Signal Processing and Imaging is compiled by two mandatory courses and elective courses. The elective courses should be selected in consultation with your supervisor(s) and contact person.
Mandatory courses
- IN4015 – Ultrasound Imaging or IN4010 – Acoustic Imaging (continued) (Autumn course)
- IN5340 – Statistical Signal Processing or INF4480 – Digital Signal Processing II (continued) (Spring course)
Recommended courses
In addition to mandatory courses, the following courses might be relevant depending on your specialization. Ask your contact person or supervisor for advice about courses, and avoid courses with colliding schedule or exam.
Autumn courses
- IN5310 – Advanced Deep Learning for Image Analysis
- FYS4150 – Computational Physics
- FYS-STK4155 – Applied Data Analysis and Machine Learning
