A Master's degree in Classical Languages ??teaches you to read demanding texts carefully, interpret complex sources and formulate precise academic arguments. The program develops critical thinking, problem-solving, patience and self-discipline — skills that are useful both in academia and beyond. You will become good at reading and organizing large amounts of text and explaining content clearly, writing concise texts and building arguments in speeches, articles or strategy documents.
This provides good conditions for further research and a doctorate, but also for jobs in teaching, communication, cultural and publishing activities, consulting and public administration. The fact that you have mastered a difficult subject signals the ability to handle demanding tasks and find original solutions, often with perspectives drawn from antiquity.
