12:00-12:45 – Art tour on campus
Did you know that The University of Oslo has a vast art collection of over 1600 works? In this art tour, you will get an unique opportunity to see and learn more about some of the impressive art collection. The tour is held by UiO's own art curator. The tour starts in Georg Sverdrups hus.

Madeleine Borge, also known as Student and such on Tiktok and Instagram comes to The Unviersity of Oslo to share her best tips about student life. Today she studies in London and has written and published a book about student life. She includes everything from study techniques to advices about economy, how to handle stress and how to achieve a good work/life balance. She's here to give you a good semester start!

12:15-12:45 – Strong start with SiO Health Services film
How can you best prepare for your new life as a student in Oslo? In this course we aim to teach you how to take charge in your studies. Student counsellors and a psychologists talk about time management, coping with stress and how to develop a healthy internal dialogue.
12:55-13:25 – How to write academically at UiO?
As new student to the University of Oslo you are not only expected to learn a new subject, but also to write assignments according to academic standards. Mentors from the Academic writing centre will share their best tips and guide you to resources to help you along.
