Master's Meet and Mingle: Sledding at Korketrekkeren

Hey International Master's students! Ready to swap your textbooks for some high-speed thrills? We are taking you to Oslo’s most iconic sledding track – Korketrekkeren – for an afternoon of adrenaline, snow, and (hopefully) staying upright!

Whether you’re a pro or it’s your first time seeing snow, you don't want to miss this!

The Game Plan

  • When: 27 February, starting at 13:00 (1 PM).
  • Where: Meeting point at the Frognerseteren Metro Stop (end of Line 1).
  • The Vibe: We slide down, take the metro back up, and repeat until our legs get tired or our faces freeze from smiling.

What You Need to Know

  • Wear: Think "Arctic chic." Waterproof pants, a warm jacket, gloves, a scarf, and sturdy boots are non-negotiable.
  • Bring: A spare pair of socks (trust us) and your best "wooooooo!" scream.
  • The Post-Sledge Chill: Once we’ve conquered the hill, we might wander over for some hot chocolate. It’s the perfect way to warm up those hands, though please note this part is on your own pocket!

Important: Limited Spots!

We have a strict cap of 20 people for this event. Because the equipment is pre-booked, every spot is precious. Sledge rental and helmets included.

If you register and realize you can’t make it, please cancel as soon as possible. Don’t leave a fellow student standing in the cold – let someone else take the seat!
