How is my application processed?
Applications for accommodation are assessed individually, based on the documentation, your wishes and needs, as well as academic requirements in the course. The purpose of adaptation is to give students equal education opportunities and remove barriers. Granted adaptation will not always be in line with your own or the doctor's assessment.
Individial adaptation can not lead to a disproportionate burden for UiO, reduce the academic requirements or give the student an advantage compared to fellow students. It will therefore vary between different study programs and subjects which adaptation that can be granted.
You will receive a response to the application in writing, either in a digital mailbox or by regular post. You usually receive an answer from the faculty within one month. If it takes longer to process the application, you will receive a preliminary answer as to why it takes longer.
Appeal against decisions
You can appeal the decision on the special examination arrangement. You will get more information about the right to appeal in the decision.
The Central Appeal Committee at UiO is the appeals body.
