Programme structure
The Digitalization Certificate consists of a mandatory introductory course and one or two elective courses, in total 20 ECTS credits.
The certificate has the following structure:
- mandatory course (10 ECTS)
- one or two elective courses (in total 10 ECTS)
Mandatory course (10 ECTS)
The mandatory introductory course SIFI2000 – Foundations of Digitalization must be completed before the elective courses.
The course will be taught every year starting from the spring of 2025. Eventually, it may become relevant to change the teaching semester to fall.
Elective courses (in total 10 ECTS)
Select from this list of elective courses:
- SIFI2100 – Programming: Principles and Practice (5 ECTS)
- SIFI2300 – Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization (5 ECTS)
- JUR1630 – Privacy and Data Protection (10 ECTS)
More elective courses are under development and will appear in the list as soon as possible. There will be contributions from other faculties (The Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Faculty of Educational Sciences).
The elective courses may be given either in the autumn or the spring semester, or both. The certificate can be completed over one or multiple semesters.
