Admission requirements
The Digitalization?Certificate is open to students currently enrolled in a bachelor's programme, incoming exchange students at the bachelor's level, and students enrolled in integrated 5-year master's programmes or 6-year professional programmes at the University of Oslo (UiO).
Students must have completed at least 60 ECTS at bachelor's level (one year of full-time studies) at the University of Oslo before applying for admission to the certificate.
Students enrolled in 2-year master's programmes, 1-year programmes or?single courses are?not?eligible for admission to the Digitalization?Certificate.
Ranking of applicants
In case of more qualified applicants than available places, they are ranked based on a random draw.
Admission to courses
Students admitted to the Digitalization Certificate have first priority for the mandatory course SIFI2000 – Foundations of Digitalization.
It is not possible to apply for the recognition of other courses.
For the autumn semester of 2025, there will be a rolling admission for the Digitalization Certificate. This means that the administration will continuously review and respond to applications. You can expect to receive a response to your application by September 2nd at the latest, and we encourage you to apply early.

If your bachelor's program allows for elective courses, you can include the courses from the Digitalization Certificate as part of your degree.
