Delegation of host access

In principle, it is the leaders with personnel responsibilities that can administer the guest at their unit, but it is possible to delegate this responsibility to others.

How to delegate your host access to others

  1. Leaders with personnel responsibility sends an email to gjestereg@usit.uio.no This email must contain:
    1. The username of the one you want host access.
    2. Which unit they should be given the access for.
  2. The other person receives the same access as the leader and the leader keeps their access

The person that wants host access to be delegated to them can also contact us, but the leader must confirm this.

It is not possible to delegate host access for individual guests or roles, only per unit (and their sub units if you want).
