To change your password if you have forgotten it or never received it:
- Go to the Forgotten password service.
- Fill in your username and mobile number. You must also fill in ONE of the fields for Norwegian National ID OR Student ID number.
- You'll receive a confirmation code on our mobile.
- Fill in the code on the next page.
- Make a new password.
Your new password will work on all systems within an hour.
Who can use this service?
Student: To use the Forgotten password service you must:
- be registered as an active student in StudentWeb (Felles studentsystem).
- have registered your mobile number in StudentWeb (Felles Studentsystem) or in the UiO employee system (HR-portalen).
Staff/Faculty: to use the Forgotten password service you must:
- have registered your mobile number in the UiO employee system (HR-portalen).
NOTE: For security reasons you may not use the Forgotten password service if you are a member of a blocked groups typically IT operational groups which give administrator access to the UiO IT services.
