Two-factor authentication increases security for UiO and all IT users at UiO.
- At UiO, we recommend that you use an app on your mobile phone for authentication in addition to passwords. It is also possible to install an authentication application on your computer. If these solutions do not suit you, please contact the IT help, the UiO central IT support, for customized options.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) is also known as secure login and multifactor authentication (MFA).
Note
You cannot turn off two-factor authentication.
