JMP 19

This program requires a license per user per machine. Here follows the procedure on how to obtain and apply this license.

Note: If you want to use JMP 19 in multiple projects, this procedure must be performed in each of them.?

Procedure for license activation

Prerequisites:

Before using JMP 19 in TSD, you must register as a student, instructor or researcher to be eligible for a student license. Use this link to apply: Set started with JMP Student Edition

Retrieving the Request Code:

Open JMP 19 by double-clicking the shortcut on your desktop.

You will be presented with the following dialog. Click OK:

The authorization dialog will pop up containing your Request Code.?

The request code (text string in the dark rectangle in the authorization dialog) must be transferred to the outside of TSD. Click on Copy Request Code in the Authorization dialog, open Notepad, and paste the copied code into the file. Save the file as “Request Code [your name]”. Copy the file to the project file-export directory.

Export the “Request Code [your name]” file. If you are not a Project Administrator/Principal Investigator, ask them to export the file for you.

Retrieving the Response Code:


Outside TSD, open your browser and go to jmp.com/authorize. If prompted, log in to your JMP account. Open the “Request Code [your name]” file and copy the text inside it. Paste the text into the Request Code text box and click the “Get Authorization Code” button.

Then, press “Download as File”, and save the “Response Code” file on your computer:

Rename the file to “Response Code [your name]”.

Import the Response Code file into TSD via the TSD Data Portal.

Authorize JMP 19 license:

Go back to the TSD project on which you will be using JMP 19. In the authorization dialog box, press Browse:

In the browse-popup, navigate to durable\file-import\pXXXX-yourname-group and open your response code file.
