The Student Residence Network and the UDP protocol

Inbound TCP is closed with a few exceptions:

•  Port 22 (SSH) is open from the UiO network
•  Port 80 (HTTP) is open from the UiO network

UDP is generally open with a few exceptions:

• Windows neighbourhood ports (135-139, 445) is filtered.
• A few ports below 1024 (SNMP etc)
• Ports 31337 and 32771.

IPv4 and IPv6 access lists are pretty much similar.

VPN protocols (AH/ESP/GRE) are open, except to the UiO network.
