Important:
The guidelines below only apply if your email account is in MS365. All accounts at UiO will be migrated there in the fall of 2024. If you are unsure whether your email is in MS365, you can check it as follows:
Go to →outlook.office.com. If you see a login window and can log in, you have been migrated. If you are asked to click on a link to be redirected, you have not been migrated.
To configure the Outlook Mobile app for your mobile device:
Download and install the Outlook Mobile app
- In the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play (Android), search for and select Outlook Mobile.
- Get/download the app, then select Open.
Users with a managed device owned by UiO (enrolled in the Mobile Device Manager Workspace One), must download Outlook Mobile from within the Intelligent Hub app on your device.
Configure Outlook Mobile
- Start Outlook Mobile on your device.
- In the Welcome Screen click Add Account.
- Enter your username@uio.no and select Add Account.
- The UiO Log In screen appears, enter your password, and authenticate using multi-factor authentication.
(Note! If you already have logged in to Microsoft 365 on your device, the UiO Log In screen might not appear)
- In the Add Another Account screen, select Maybe Later.
- An Enable Notifications message appears.
- Select Turn On or No Thanks. Your Inbox is displayed.
