Email cleanup effort
We simply have too much e-mail at UiO, so now we are starting a cleanup effort. Storing large amounts of e-mail increases the climate footprint of UiO and causes unnecessary expenses. In addition, some people at UiO have confidential data (red data) in their e-mail, and such data must be removed from the e-mail and stored correctly.
Migration to new email system
UiO has long offered the Office suite to its staff and students through MS365 (formerly Office 365). Now, we are taking the full step and also adopting the email solution available in MS365. The IT department will perfom the migration.
Before your email is migrated, we recommend that you clean up and delete as advised next to this box, and then the transition will only take a couple of clicks. All emails will continue to be stored on servers in Norway.

UiO is moving to a new email system, and the address for webmail will be different depending on whether you have been migrated or not.
