Zoom Module 2: Using Teams for Teaching

Are you going to use Zoom to teach digitally and want to get the most out of Zoom? Then this course is for you. UiO:Helpdesk invites you to a digital course in Zoom functionality useful for teaching.

Target audience: Lecturers

Prerequisites: Basic Zoom competence equivalent to Zoom Module 1: Introduction to Zoom Functionality

Time: 1 hour

Learning outcome: 
The course will give insight on how Zoom may be used for teaching. We will be going through screen sharing, recording, and how to upload recordings to the course pages, as well as Canvas. In addition we will be going through how to hold a safe digital lecture, how to split students into private digital rooms, and set up basic interactivity.

Content:

  • Screen sharing and recording within Zoom
  • Uploading Zoom recordings to the course pages and Canvas
  • Using Breakout Rooms
  • Interactivity during a Zoom lecture
  • Keeping the Zoom meeting safe

 

For security reasons we ask everyone to log in to Zoom with their UiO user.
