Changing the Firefox interface language
- Install the language packs for the language you want to use. The language packs are available here.
- Type about:config into the adressbar og click Enter.
- Click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
- Type intl.locale.requested into the search field.
- NB! In some versions of Firefox no results will appear when searching for this string. If it does not, you must add it yourself:
- Right click on any area inside the settings list. It does not matte where you click. Choose "New" and "String" in the menu tha appears.
- Type in intl.locale.requested and click OK.
- In the next step, type in the language code for the language you want to use. If you do not know the code for the language pack that you have installed and wanted to activate, you can find the list of all the language codes here: Mozilla Web Localization Dashboard.
- If intl.locale.requested does appear in the search, double click on it. Type in the language code of the language you want to use. If you do not know the code for the language pack you have installed and wat to activate, follow the link above.

NB! Close all Firefox windows and restart to activate the new language pack.
Changing the display language
- Go to the Firefox menu on the top right corner and click "Options":
- Scroll down to "Language and appearance" and find "Language". Click "Choose" to change the display language.
- This menu shows you what language is currently chosen. If your preferred language is not on this list, click "Select a language to add". A list of all available languages will appear.
- Find the language you want to change to and click "Add". Click OK.
NB! Restart Firefox to activate the new display language.
