Terms of use
It is a prerequisite that you specify a budget allocation authority before you can receive Google Cloud access and your project can begin.
Agreement with Google
UiO has an agreement with Google which says that all service use in Google Cloud is gathered in one invoice.
The different projects names and organizational unit will be specified on the invoice from Google. Based on this invoice, UiO will internally invoice the specific units at UiO using the services.
Internal invoicing
Normally UiO will invoice the units one or two times a year, depending on the consumption.
Own agreements can be made if the units wishes to be billed according to certain threshold values.
Contact the service provider for questions about this.
Controlling the usage
The price list of the services in Google Cloud must be read and understood before the service can be put to use. There must also be routines in place to control the usage.
The service provider is not responsible for any overuse.
Service termination
Report it to the service provider for Google Cloud at UiO when the project is done. It is the project's own responsibility to turn off the services, while it is the service provider's responsibility to remove the project's service access in Google Cloud.
Note that Google may reserve the right to allow services to run in X number of days after termination.
When leaving UiO
Access to the Google Cloud services cannot be transfered to a private Google account or to a private credit card.
