Text translations
If you want to translate a text, write a prompt about translation before pasting in the text. If you have a longer text, we recommend to divide it into multiple messages. An example of a prompt could be "I want you to translate the following text into English. I will send the texts in the next message."
Adding Nynorsk subtitles to videos
If you want to have subtitles in Nynorsk for a video, we recommend to first transcribe the file to Bokm?l using Autotekst. Currently, Autotekst provides poor quality when transcribing in Nynorsk.
Next, open the .vtt file with a text editor (such as Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on Mac). Then, select the content and paste it into GPT UiO, requesting the content to be translated into Nynorsk. Copy the response and paste it back into the .vtt file.
Remember that the .vtt file must start with WEBVTT at the top, without any empty fields or line breaks before it.
