Tell us about your travel habits and help us reach our climate goals!

The University of Oslo will be surveying how students and employees travel to and from our campuses. The results from the survey will provide us with important knowledge, so that we can achieve our climate goals by 2023.

Why do we need to survey students and employees' travel habits?

One of the goals in UiO's climate and environmental strategy is to improve the opportunities for environmentally friendly transportation to and from campus. We want to better facilitate those who walk, cycle and use public transport, as well as reduce car usage. To do this, we need to understand current travel patterns and gain insight into the needs of our students and employees.

The measures we implement should be knowledge-based—and for that, we need your help. The responses we collect will be important during the planning stages. Together, we can create a greener UiO!

As a thank you for participating in the survey, you have the opportunity to enter the draw* for a 30-day ticket from Ruter. There will be a total of six winners.

Respond to the travel survey

The last day to respond to the survey is on Friday, 9th May 2025.

Thank you for your contribution!

*The 30-day ticket is valid for zone 1. Each winner will receive one prize. The survey is anonymous, but to enter the draw, you must leaver your UiO-affiliated email address.

What is a travel survey?

A travel survey is a survey that maps the travel habits and patterns of a specific group. In this survey, we ask questions about, among other things, modes of transport to and from UiO's campuses, the time it takes, if you do any errands on the way, as well as travelling for work.
