Pitch your research at the SDG Conference 2023

UiO:Energy and Environment would like to invite master students and PhDs working on energy, environment and sustainability, to present their research projects at the SDG Conference on February 8, 2023.

This event is part of the Day Zero program. The pitching will take place at Realfagsbiblioteket at the University of Oslo, and will be streamed through the conference platform.

Pitching your project is a great opportunity to practice research communication in front of an audience of fellow researchers and students. Link to the registration can be found below.

Who can participate?

  • All students at master and PhD level, working on topics related to energy, environment and sustainability
  • This is an interdisciplinary event and students/PhDs from all fields are encouraged to participate.

Topic for presentation:

  • A master or PhD project related to energy, environment and sustainability.

Format of presentation:

  • PowerPoint presentation (or PDF), our advice is to use a limited number of slides!
  • Maximum 5 min presentation
  • Please keep in mind that your presentation should be understandable for an audience not familiar with the particular research topic.
  • Language: English 

The audience will vote for the best presentation. First prize: two Interrail tickets.

We will select a maximum of ten contributions, making sure there is a good mix of different topics.
