2: Correlating Hydrogen-Related Defects with Degradation in Silicon Solar Cells (Natural Sciences)
- Project description

- Preferred academic background: Interest in material properties, solid state physics/chemistry, and some laboratory experience. Experience in data evaluation of spectroscopical data and a curiosity for defects in solid state materials are desirable.

3: Designing a methodology for integrating community acceptance of wind energy into energy system modelling (Natural Sciences and Social Sciences)

- Preferred academic background: Physics, Mechanics, Geoscience or Computational Science. Basic programming skills (C++ and/or Python) and knowledge of fluid mechanics is required. Some knowledge of solid mechanics and thermodynamics is an advantage.

8: Formative evaluation of school workshops to co-create the energy transition (Natural Sciences and Social Sciences)

- Preferred academic background: Master studies in Social, Educational, or Natural Sciences with an interest in climate change mitigation or the energy transition. Experience with teaching or conducting workshops is a big advantage.

- Preferred academic background: Kandidatene som s?ker m? beherske norsk flytende b?de skriftlig og muntlig. Samfunnsvitenskapelig eller juridisk bakgrunn er et krav, og det er en fordel ? ha erfaring med dokument- og tekstanalyse. Gode analytiske og skriftlige framstillingsevner er forventet.
- Expected research period: Arbeidet skal gjennomf?res i tiden mai 2024 – september 2024. Rapport fra prosjektet skal ferdigstilles til 30. september og er beregnet til ? ta seks uker i fulltids arbeid. Arbeidet med rapporten kan fordeles i tidsrammen for gjennomf?ring. Prosjektet kan revideres ved oppstart etter samtale mellom student og veileder.
12: Mapping Mining: Visualising the social and environmental impacts of mining for the Twin Transition (Natural Sciences and Social Sciences)
