The Life Science Growth House will challenge culture and thinking, bring forward more innovators and start-up companies and stimulate more knowledge being put into use.
At this event we will present our services and funding opportunities and how we will collaborate with departments at the University of Oslo, Oslo University Hospital and Akershus University Hospital as well the technology transfer office Inven2, clusters, incubators, industry and the partners in Oslo Science City to succeed.
You will also get to hear what experienced innovators from the University of Oslo think it takes to succeed to put more research into use.
A panel with representatives from different parts of the innovation ecosystem will discuss what it takes to improve the dialog and collaboration between academia and industry. How do we facilitate that international life science industry establishes activity in Oslo and Oslo Science City? What actions should the Life Science Growth House take?
About the innovation unit the Life Science Growth House
- Will help researchers and students in life sciences to mature early-stage ideas to facilitate that research results to a greater extent benefit society.
- Will eventually move into the Life Science Building. Now the unit is located in Oslo Science Park.
- Is an equal collaboration between the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine.
