Sven Thore Kloster will defend his doctoral dissertation: "Towards an Agonistic Theology. A Political Reading of the Concepts of Tradition in the Christian Theologies of Gerhard Ebeling and Kathryn Tanner," for the degree of Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) at the Faculty of Theology.
Nowadays the amounts of data generated presents unique opportunities in research and technological innovations. This also raises a range of challenges, including data standards, analysis and visualization, as well as ethical considerations such as data protection, privacy and ownership.
In this symposium we want to explore the increasing role that data plays in our lives. The event will explore research and technological innovations that involve data and the society.

Malin Ah-King is visiting the Science Studies Colloquium Series. Ah-King is an evolutionary biologist and gender researcher (Associate Professor in Gender Studies). Since she received her PhD in Zoology, Stockholm University, she has worked with interdisciplinary gender/biology research in different ways, by problematizing notions of biological sex as binary and stable, highlighting gender stereotypes and heteronormative conceptions in theory and research.
