MishMash – Center for AI and Creativity
MishMash is one of six new national research centers in artificial intelligence (AI). The award comes as part of the government's AI billion.
About MishMash
MishMash will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and creativity. Our primary goal is to create, explore and reflect on AI for, through and in creative practices.
We will investigate the impact of AI on creative processes, develop co-creative AI systems and reflect on the ethical, cultural and societal implications of AI for creative professions.
Time frame
- December 2025: planned start-up
- Spring 2026: announcements of doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships
- Autumn 2026: normal operation
