About the lecture
In this lecture, we'll explore the importance of the Competitive Analysis when presenting your startup idea to investors. While it may seem natural to focus solely on the brilliance of your own product, investors are more likely to invest in something they can relate to and compare with existing products.
A strong Competitive Analysis shows you understand the market, acknowledges competitors, and demonstrates the viability of your product. Rather than positioning yourself as a lone genius, it’s often more effective to present your product within a well-defined competitive landscape. This analysis not only helps potential investors understand where you fit but also serves as a tool to build credibility and showcase the depth of your thinking, ultimately increasing your chances of securing investment.
