TIK Board
The board met Thursday 24 October. The main points on the agenda were the budget for next year and how the economic situation will develop in the coming 5 year period, as well as the activity plan for 2025-2027.
The board discussed the conditions and possibilities for TIK's staff to continue the lasting good results on acquiring external research funding and by this funds to cover the centre's permanent costs. The board's discussion also emphasized the importance of the teaching capacity and the obstacles the centre meets today in order to develop this according to our wishes.
As for the activity plan, the board was concerned with the activities around the teaching activities. The leadership will involve the students in identifying obstacles and possible solutions for the students progression. A first impression is that conditions around the the master thesis will be looked at. The board was also concerned about the follow up of the program evaluation of the master programs and will be more informed about this in a later meeting.
