ARK working group
Following the last ARK meeting in November a working group of 5 has been appointed by Fulvio after his mail of 26 January inviting colleagues to join:
- Inger-Johanne (administration; secretary of the committee)
- Markus (verneombud; and representative of professors / assoc. professors)
- Hilde R. (researchers representative)
- Hilde N. (postdoc representative)
- Frauke (PhD representative)
The group will be working in the period between now and April. The final objective is to make a “tiltaksplan”, namely a list of actions and measures that TIK could undertake in the coming months in order to improve its working environment. This plan will be based upon and develop further the results of the ARK survey, and the discussions that we had in the staff meetings on ARK during the fall semester.
The plan will be presented to the staff after Easter.
Tax information
The Annual Income Statement for 2021 found on UiO's Self Service Portal is not correct. For 2021 this statement can be found on the web-pages of the Norwegian Tax Authority (Skatteetaten). This is because UiO used two different payroll systems in 2021.
Please find further information about this here: Annual Income Statement - For employees - University of Oslo (uio.no)
Recruiting process new centre director
After the TIK board gave their recommendation for the next centre director in their meeting 21 December, the next step is now the appointment by the board of the Faculty of Social Sciences. They have their first meeting this year on 18 March and the appointment is scheduled for this meeting. The recommendation is exempt from public access (pursuant to regulations of the Public Administration Act §25). TIK’s staff will thus be informed of the appointment as soon as possible after the Faculty board’s meeting in March.
Covid - information about contamination
In the current covid regulations, persons that have tested positive are now expected to inform their close contacts. If any of you have been at TIK's premises just before testing positive, please inform Inger-Johanne about whether you have informed potential close contacts at TIK. If not, Inger-Johanne will inform these. The information will not reveal the identity of the person that has tested postive.
Courses on research data management
In March the university library offers courses on several topics relevant for research data management. You'll find course descriptions and registration forms here: Research data - University of Oslo Library (uio.no).
