Administration

In their meeting 17.9.2019, TIK's Board decided to add a position as research adviser to the administration from 1.10.2019. Lene Angelsk?r will be the new adviser. She has substituted as research adviser for Stine Bruland during Stine's leave, Stine is back, and we are happy to have such a good team of research advisers at TIK. Lene and Stine have split the projects between them, and more detailed information will be distributed by e-mail.

Lene will also take over the administrative responsibility for the PhD-programme. Until further notice, communication activities and PhD-defences will be coordinated by Frode.

TIK will recruit a new person for Lene's former position as student adviser. The position is announced, and the deadline for applications is October 22. J?rgen Bollingmo will continue to substitute in the position until a permanent solution is in place. J?rgen will also be the editor of TIK's web-pages.

Hege Rudi Standal has since June had a 40 % position at TIK, combined with a 60 % position at UiO:Energy. She will continue in this  part-time position in October and November. She will assist in the administration of PhDs and other administrative tasks.

Frode has handed in his resignation and will leave TIK in December for a new position at KORO (Public Art Norway). The announcement for a new Head of Administration is published, and the deadline for applications is November 1.

Maintenance - 21.10.2019

The property department at UiO will perform an inspection of the electricity systems in Eilert Sundts hus and Harriet Holters hus on Monday 21.10.2019 from 18:00 to 23:00.

This implies that the power will be turned of for shorter periods during the evening. It is not recommended to be in the buildings during this particular evening, and all computers must be turned off.
