NVA: Reporting your scientific publications

This information is relevant for all who publishes with the Department of Biosciences (IBV) (or sub-units) as their affiliation.

    About NVA

NVA is the national system for research documentation. The researchers are themselves responsible for ensuring that their publications are registered in Cristin, while approval of the entries is the responsibility of the superuser and the Head of Department.

    Replacing Cristin

NVA replaced Cristin in September 2025.

Read more at the UiO webpage about the switch.

    Cristin in read only mode

Cristin will be available in read-only mode for some time. Note that it is the newest version of Cristin (often referred to as Cristin 2.0) that will be kept open for reading. The old version of Cristin is not longer accessible.

    Using NVA

User guides for NVA can be found at sikt.no. At the Norwegian page, you can also find recordings of webinars on how to use NVA.
