The research festival that focuses on medicine and health was first held last year at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology. The public got to learn more about research and partake in activities from the faculty’s various communities, with great enthusiasm from both the general public and those staffing the stands.
We are therefore repeating the success and are arranging this year’s Research Festival on Saturday 23 September!
It is important to create enthusiasm and understanding for research among the general public, and this is a great opportunity for faculty employees to showcase their work to family and friends.
Free admission for UiO employees and their family to the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology
The area with stands is free for everyone, but to see other exhibitions and go on guided tours at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology on this day requires an entrance fee.
UiO employees can get up to 15 tickets for free by registering their order here: Online form in Norwegian.
The event is part of Research Days, see the full programme on this website in Norwegian.
Thank you
Thank you to all the communities that are participating, and to our researchers and students who are helping with stands and activities!
By creating enthusiasm and understanding for research through engaging encounters and activities, we ensure future recruitment to our programmes of study, an understanding of what research is and the importance of knowledge and good research communities.
Welcome!
