There will be drilling and wire sawing near Domus Medica in September and October, and the parking garage at The National Hospital and the tram tracks will be removed.
New National Hospital
For those of us who study and work in Domus medica, please stay tuned for updates on the consequences of the construction of the New National Hospital.
The tram stop at the National Hospital Rikshospitalet is closed from September 16th. There will be a bus service replacing the tram for a period from John Collet's place.
The construction of the New National Hospital Rikshospitalet affects new areas this autumn. It is no longer possible to get off the bus at the roundabout near Domus Medica, and cyclists and pedestrians can only use one side of Klaus Torg?rdsvei.
From 27th May until 8th July, there will be loud noise from drilling on the north side of Domus Medica.
From 22nd April blasting will take place twice a day on the west side of Domus Medica.
The tram stop at the National Hospital will be closed and demolished. This is scheduled to happen in October.
During the months ahead, the positioning of sheet piles will involve excavation and drilling work close to Domus Medica.

In the beginning of May, excavation work will block walkways to Domus Medica (DM)
