The Estate department will upgrade the surfaces in the dissection halls 1 and 2 in Domus Medica. Existing dissection tables will be replaced with new tables with air extraction. The work begins in Hall 2 on Monday 3 July, with planned completion in December 2023. Equipment and furnishings to be retained must be moved out of Hall 2 before 10 July 2023.
The work in Hall 1 will take place from January 2024, with planned completion on 1 August 2024.
Periods of noise
There will be periods of some noise. In general, the contractor will carry out noisy work before 09.00, possibly between 12.00 and 13.00. Particular noisy works are notified via the user coordinator. There will only be dust in the construction zone, which will be closed to traffic.
